The latest Fortnite patch sees the return of deuce classic items: the shopping hale and the B.R.U.T.E mech.

Shopping carts were domed backbone in Season 8 afterwards organism around since Season 4. They were pretty damn great for whizzing about the map, being able to gain some serious speed when heading down steep declines. IT was a handy vehicle for things like healing on the move excessively, being able to tug your pal away from the storm while they bandaged up.

There is something to be aforesaid about the fact that shopping carts have now been in the game double, despite the Epic Games Store not even having a shopping cart function—though information technology's last arriving sometime soon. Director of publication strategy Sergiy Galyonkin poked a trifle of fun at it, tweeting "many people have been asking about a shopping cart happening Twitter for any reason, so here it is," alongside a picture of Fortnite's vehicle.

The plot also sees the return of the B.R.U.T.E mech from Season X, in the form of a slenderly weaker Salvaged B.R.U.T.E. The buirdly bipedal got its fair share of complaints when it was added, with players locution it was too overpowered and sticky to foresee. Epic did nerf them before being vaulted one season subsequently. Information technology was left in creative mode, but then had to be removed in Season 2 Chapter 6 for stableness reasons. The B.R.U.T.E isn't back in full force just so far though. It needs to be funded before information technology gets fully added to the lame, needing one billion bars handed in at donation stations.

Divagation from old-but-golds returning, the new patch somewhat bizarrely introduces a Naruto skin. Fortnite's classic Make unnecessary the World mode and instrumentalist-created maps also offer EXP now, which is neat. You can fit out the full patch notes over at Epic Games.

A unsoured author in the industry, Molly has been taken under PC Gamer's RGB-laden extension, making sure she doesn't get up to besides much mischief on the site. She's not quite sure what a Command & Inhibit is, simply she can rattle on for hours about all the obscure rhythm games and singular MMOs from the 2000s. She's been cookery up entirely manner of news, previews and features while she's been here, but especially enjoys when she gets to write virtually Inalterable Fantasy, Role, The Sims, and whatever other crippled she's currently hopelessly fixated on. There's a good chance she's boring another PC Gamer author about her latest obsession equally we speak.
